ANOTHER LUCKY LADY?

When we bought Katie Kate in 2023, we kept the given name the breeder gave her (Kate) because when we picked her, she already knew her name.

After a couple of months of her being home, my travel buddy hubby and I said we should have named her “6-49”, because coming home with us was like she had won the lottery. 

I am sure there are a ton of people that know us and that read my musings here that think we must be crazy for getting a third dog. Crazy or not, it was a decision that we made when we learned that Katie’s sister was expecting.

That said, there are several moving parts to how we manage our pack. For instance, when my boss asks me to be in the office to train a new group of employees, the answer has to be yes. Next was the fact we didn’t want to leave the new little one with the big dogs.

So, we decided that she would go to work with Dad, and they would come home at lunch to let the others out. 

The picture I am sharing was how I found her and Dad when I stopped by his work.

I know that I was struggling with her puppy antics last month – but this month we have turned a corner. 

She is fully house trained, and she is the most affectionate puppy we have ever had.

Guess this time, we are the ones that won the lottery!
