As we are ending our current Federal Election cycle, I find the ongoing political dialogue that 'Canada is broken' tiresome.
Every time I hear that statement it makes me go Hmmmm, and scratch my head.
You see, I find it baffling that voters that own a beautiful house, lake lot, $85,000 truck, fifth wheel or trailer, speed boat, quad, and vacation to other countries every year.... Can pontificate that "Canada is Broken".
Why? Because they want more!

ReplyDeleteAs an American, I'd assume the magas are whispering in their ears that Canada is broken because trumpedee wants to take it over, probably force taxation without representation and tack on private healthcare costs after eliminating that universal care Canada is famous for having. 🤷🏽♂️ Just a guess.

I am a Canadian senior, 68, living in Montreal, Canada, and the cartoon did make me laugh. Although Canada, just like any other country, is not perfect, I am proud to be a Canadian. And although I cannot speak for all Canadians, we love our neighbours in the U.S. and appreciate the close friendship we have always had with them. That is, unfortunately, until Trump started up his ridiculous behaviour. You have a very nice blog.
